About Us

Meet Punta Diving

Our story

Minutes from the sea. Miles from the ordinary. Based in Betina, Punta Diving is your gateway to the rugged beauty of Murter and the Kornati archipelago.

We are a full-service SSI training facility run by a crew of local experts who believe that "office hours" should involve a dive boat and a tank of air.

We provide a full training path for every level of diver, ensuring that while our jokes might be average, our safety standards and local knowledge are anything but.

Mission

We love diving. We love sharing it. We’re here to put you in crystal-clear water with a community of people who value the ocean as much as you do. Whether it’s your first breath underwater or your hundredth wreck dive, our mission is to make sure your time underwateris the highlight of your year.

Our fleet

Our boat

The hull that takes you to Kornati National Park, the wrecks, and every reef in between.

Featured boat

Punta 1

MU 433

At 9 m overall, Punta 1 carries up to 10 people on board including crew and is powered by a 330 hp Volvo diesel.

A top speed is around 40 knots (~74 km/h) though in normal operations we do about half that. However that reserve performance is a real safety margin if conditions change or we need to respond fast.

Punta 1 has an onboard marine toilet.

The instructors, guides, and crew behind every dive.

Leo

Leo Lusic

Instructor / Owner

Languages: Croatian, English, German

Leo is an SSI Instructor Trainer and the centre’s technical lead. He teaches trimix, dives CCR, and oversees regulator maintenance and hands-on repairs when gear needs more than a rinse. Between instruction, guided diving, and skippering, he’s on the water as often as he’s in the workshop—drawing on 20+ years of hands-on experience in teaching, technical diving, and running boats.

Ane

Ane Sandric

Administration

Languages: Croatian, English

Ane runs our front office: guest check-in and check-out, day-to-day administration, and she’s the person to ask when you need help or information before, during, or after your stay.

Jere

Jere

Instructor

Languages: German, Croatian, English

Jere is one of our skippers and an experienced captain—so you spend less time crossing open water and more time on the dive site. Many of our returning guests remember him from seasons past. He’s a CMAS instructor, trimix diver, PADI Divemaster, and skilled in gas blending.
